The width of the platform for the wheelchair lift is 765mm (30 inches), and the front-to-rear length is 1,075mm (45 inches). A wheelchair wider and longer than these lift dimensions can not get on. In addition, the front-to-rear length of a wheelchair must include the front footrests and the rear anti-tip bar. Because when the platform moves up and down, the flips on the left and right of the figure below will be raised to prevent the wheelchair from falling down.

The height of the rear gate opening (boarding area) equipped with a wheelchair lift is 118 cm / 46 inch. If a wheelchair user’s total height while seated in the wheelchair is 118 cm / 46 inch or more, it’s requested to lean forward when passing through the rear gate. Alternatively, if the wheelchair has a reclinable backrest, it’s requested to adjust the backrest to lower the total height to 118 cm / 46 inch or less. Additionally, the height of tha cabin ceiling is 130 cm / 51 inch. If, after boarding, the top of a wheelchair user’s head exceeds 130 cm / 51 inch while seated in the wheelchair, the user will touch the ceiling, resulting in insufficient headroom.
