Wilgo, vehicle with wheelchair lift, makes your stay in Tokyo comfortable!

Sanrio Puroland

Sanrio Puroland, which opened in December 1990, is an indoor theme park where Sanrio characters such as the well-known Hello Kitty meet together. From Tama Center Station on the Odakyu Line, Keio Line, and Tama Monorail, follow the promenade that leads to Parthenon Tama, turn left at the corner of Okanoue Plaza, and you will see Sanrio Puroland. If you use the slope from the station to this point, you can move smoothly with wheelchairs and strollers, and there are various shops lined up, so you’ll end up looking around while walking to the entrance of Puroland.

However, in the case of rainy day, moving on the open-air promenade is a bit painful, isn’t it? If so, it means using a car. The Puroland underground car park has disabled parking spaces that were previously reservable but are now on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, the underground parking lot is often full immediately after opening, so you will have to park at partner parking lots a little away.

Parking instruction in English is not available, unfortunately…

In such a case, pass the entrance of the underground parking lot, turn left at the first traffic light, and go a little further to use the group bus porch (red arrow).

Of course, you can’t park here, but as you can see in the picture, if you call the posted phone number (042-339-1111), the staff will come to pick you up and enter through the special entrance. Non-wheelchair visitors can also use the stairs from this bus porch to climb up to the main entrance of Puroland.

On your way back, ask the information counter on the 1st floor and the staff will guide you to the bus porch. If there is no staff at the information counter, please call 042-339-1111 as you would when visiting the Puroland.
